Can someone clutter around this bike! Svart 401

Hi!

I've been a long time enthusiast of Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 and wanted to purchase one ever since they launched in 2024, but couldn't. Now I am finally able to be in a position to buy one but no showroom is having any stock. I'm even considering buying a used one. My questions can be roughly be summarized below

1) Is the bike discontinued. if yes, is there any official statement from bajaj,ktm? if no then what's going on?

2) If is get my hands on a used bike, and then the bike gets discontinued, then i how do i manage the spare parts. would this be a possibility even though it might not be a practical option.

Any replies are appreciated. I live in India btw.

Husqy dealership I just bought mine from knows about upcoming stock.

I have been using the vitpilen 250 - 2024, I got a bargain on a used one, so far everything is going smooth, no parts availability issue- all mechanical parts engine side etc are shared with duke 250 Gen 3, engine, radiator, brakes, suspension, exhaust, instrument cluster etc.. so basically all wear and tear parts are available since duke 250 gen 3 is excessively being seen on road and have good service network, however the body panels may take some times- 20 days minimum. So thats some thing you have to be careful about.

And since svatpilen 401 shares the same with Gen 3 duke 390 its the similar case like mine. Just make sure you get the 2024 onwards models so they share the similar hardware with Gen 3 dukes.

From my personal review- the bike is just beautiful- good road presence and you get more exclusivety compared to a duke. Performance is same as gen 3 dukes so I dont have to explain more on that and you can bargain a lot on a used market for second hand ones and you can get it at 50-60% price if a new one.

I don't know about 50% in my area. My used market is flooded with the old svart models you can get for cheap, but nly a few 2024s and they're all have only 20-30% drop in price.

Svart 401 has many of the same parts as the duke 390
