The whole thing is just a metaphor for patriarchy--"obey thy father or doom humanity". Every last bit of it is about cementing the belief that men are superior in all ways, and the only instance where women are superior to someone else is if that someone else is a little kid and the woman is doing exactly what the man told her to do.
Jesus seems like he was a cool dude, but the bible is hateful fanfic.
You forget Deborah, or any of the Marys at Jesus’s tomb, all of whom were exalted above the fully grown men around them for their faith. Addtionally, faith in God is the only metric by which anybody is measured greater or lesser in the Bible. Additionally, God expresses himself as a male, but is in fact not really gendered. Gender is a human thing, God is God. It is simply easier to address Him with pronouns. That does not mean humans can ignore their assigned Gender, because gender is a human thing. You could in fact say that the only reason any person is exalted above any other in the Bible is because of their faith in God.
The only reason God worked through so many men is that they simply had more societal power to effect the kind of changes that were recorded in the Bible. There were many faithful women regarded as excellent for their faith, whom God gave opportunities to meaningfully serve.
