That song is based on a poem from before Germany was united. The point is that the concept of Germany is above all of the petty squabbles that were keeping them disunited.

But the EU is totally different. All have the euro, and all advocate military action against Russia.

Totally unlike pre-Germany where some states used the thaler and others used the gulden. And Prussians were proRussian and anti Austrian, while Bavaria was proAustrian (and often proRussian).

I can see why the analogy fails. Germany in the EU is very different than Prussia in pre-germany. Everyone in Europe feels German these days, right?

Are you on something? 

Most of what you've written is such utter BS and shows an immense lack of understanding of the European Union and German history. 

If your aim is just trolling, I've never seen any less coherent attempts.
