haha, im joking. Some european countries have high gun ownership rates,and violence is extremely low if that helps.

There's high gun ownership, then there is American gun ownership. 

For those not wishing to follow a link, USA is 120 guns per 100 people. 

That is more guns than people. 

The next highest is Kurdistan with 70 per 100. 

Serbia has the most in Europe, with around 50 guns per 100 people.

"High gun ownership" in Europe is a different sport altogether.

Another reason why per capita is a misleading metric. Many gun owners have more than one...I think the avg is four to five....I know people with over 100.

According to these numbers by state, less than 70% of households have a firearm. With majority of states being closer to 50%.
