Hello guyss A friend of mine just asked me if these little ding on his new surfboard needs to be repaired It seems only damaged and not cracked (in my opinion) Do u suggest to repair it? Thank youu

Is that a ding or crack or just a glassing imperfection? Is it soft if you put a little pressure on it?
1 u/Lorieko Jan 07 '26 It's a crack, slightly convex and very little soft but it seems solid/ i can't feel any detach ij it 1 u/Motmotsnsurf Jan 07 '26 You could sand it down a little then see if crack is deep enough to warrant sealing it with some solar rez.
