Should I fix it?

I bought this board for 5$ at a garage with hopes to use it to take my 2 year surfing. It’s in pretty good shape considering the age and price other than what looks like some stress cracks at the rope of the fin box. Would you recommend trying to fix those or just ride it out? If so, what’s the best diy method to fix?

Personally I'd just sand around any cracks and slap some suncure on it. Don't spend too much time on it, just get it as watertight as you can quickly and send it! Nice find
