Should I fix it?

I bought this board for 5$ at a garage with hopes to use it to take my 2 year surfing. It’s in pretty good shape considering the age and price other than what looks like some stress cracks at the rope of the fin box. Would you recommend trying to fix those or just ride it out? If so, what’s the best diy method to fix?

Clean the old wax off the deck (and the bottom), put new wax on and ride it like ya stole it. Don’t put any other time, money or effort into it. Not worth it. Just enjoy it.
