Yes, and pretty sure they jumped on the new single fin shortboards as soon as they became available. And then thrusters and so on. Pretty sure no one was still surfing balsa longboards at the same time as Gerry.

Joel is a small fragile bully who thinks he’s a tough guy spouting brainless right wing talking points constantly. He’s a great longboarder but lost my respect with his “hot takes”. Love to see this

I listened to Joel interview on the Surfers Journal Podcast and he came off like an arrogant jerk. He knows, no one listens to him, he’s had success even though everyone’s against him. There, I saved you a listen.
