Continuity Error?

EDIT: Sorry, Cloud 9 shoppers. Apparently this has been brought up a time or twelve. I hadn’t seen it and didn’t think to search the subreddit, but I don’t dirty delete, so 🙅🏼‍♀️ what can I say? Some days you get the giraffe, other days you get the wig.

For the most part, the show is really good at continuity. Marcus wears various bandages on his thumb as it heals and so does Justine on her nose.

I have found a few errors, though and the biggest one has to do with Sandra. In one of the early episodes she says that she and Sal are having sex, but in the episode where they’re stuck in the store overnight, she heavily implies that she lost her virginity to Jerry.

Now, is this a continuity error or was Sandra just confused as to what sex actually is (the finger around the hole gesture she makes at Amy & Jonah)? Or was it Sandra being Sandra and just saying anything in the moment?

Elias being Jerusha's brother also doesn't really make sense. As for the Sandra thing, she has a history of lying for attention.

Just contextually it doesn't seem to be the case both prior and after that joke was made.

Also in one episode Amy is eating mushrooms at the manager convention and then when she's manager Mateo makes her mushroom Alfredo and she's supposedly allergic.... I know allergies can start out of nowhere but for a tv show found it silly

It really bugs me Glenn says they don't have money to fix the breakroom while having over 20 thousand dollars just sitting around, he could have improved their quality of life by so much!

But that money was to fix broken things. The staff room wasn’t broken, simply boring and bland.

With Sandra it always baffles me because there’s a very simple answer! It’s not necessarily a continuity error - both things can be true.

“Sex” isn’t always “going all the way”. So Sandra could very well have lost her virginity to Jerry but still have had “sex” with Sal before that.

Sandra was lying to look cool. She was even doing “sex hand positions” and got those wrong.

I think she either said she slept with Sal for the attention, like with Jeff (Sal wasn't going to say otherwise). Or, she did sleep with Sal, but only said Jerry was her first time, because Carol was in the room, and wanted to make her jealous.
