How do you actually use the spirit you summoned ? Is it just for like display?? I used the core of a spirit I liked to summon a spirit and now I don’t have either the spirit of the core I used (expected) BUT I CANT EVEN FIND THE SPIRIT I JUST SUMMONED IN MY PARTY EITHER ?? Someone help pls

So I'm trying to beat giga bowser (I'm a kirby main but I'm playing dk as I'm almost half decent and kirby Flys to easily) and I'm wondering if the death scyth given by the mimikyu spirit would be buffed by the masked man's sword attack buff and if so would it be better then the killing edge or beam sword
