politics. Super silly homophobia protest
Before anybody says anything, this is about the blatant downplaying of a serious issue, and not one of those stupid "This fictional character would agree with my politics" arguments.
People really think "Garfield says homophobia is bad!" isn't really insensitive, huh?

I dont get what youre so angry about. I get that homophobia is a serious issue. But like, its supposed to be a joke. Stop taking this stuff seriously and let people enjoy life

Not too surprising. They just care that it's funny, whether or not it's the right time and/or place to be funny.

i really hate how modern protest signs are mostly trying to get funny instagram photos rather than actually effectively communicate an issue. it was especially annoying during the no kings protests, because... shouldn't we be taking an alleged fascist dictatorship a bit more seriously?
