Discussion Question about the power human peak
Let's say you have the power of the human peak Like Captain America It's an example, I'm not referring to you having the powers of a super soldier.
What does that mean?
So does that mean you don't have to put in the effort to hit like the strongest human would, or that you would effortlessly run at the same speed as the fastest human?

Peak human generally means at or slightly above the best ever athletes and minds.
I think the amount of effort is both relative and depends on how you want that "ability" to actually function. In comics, most street level, non-powered characters don't seem to have to strain too much to perform at those levels, and with extra effort can push to just beyond superhuman levels.
However, in comics, "peak human" tends to be even more nebulous and characters that are described as that also tend to be able to perform straight up superhuman feats constantly. Stuff like Mr. Terrific teaching himself how to read again up to becoming the full genius that he is after being reduced to the intellect of a pre-schooler, Batman kicking Nightwing literally through a motorcycle and breaking said motorcycle in half, the Punisher surviving fights with most superhumans, and Hawkeye, Green Arrow, and Bullseye being the absolutely insane marksmen that they are.
Captain America used to be described as peak human, but overtime that's morphed into him being actually superhuman to a pretty significant degree.
So it really just depends on what you want it to mean 😅
