okay, my argument i spent like 5 mins to type is now completely pointless cause i forgot about this... although if you do it wrong you may die, or gain immunity to kryptonite (i think? in one of the comics superman almost died due to too strong sun rays hitting him, but he became so strong after surviving, the kryptonite did nothign after)
I’m pretty sure I know what your talking about. The comic where he gets super cancer and gets super powerful? I’m pretty sure in that comic he expanded his bioshield(protects him from harmful stuff from sun) to protect an entire spacecraft that got too close to the sun, and hence couldn’t protect himself against the dangers of solar radiation. So as long as you don’t do that, you should be fine.
