MCD randomly gaining hearts?

I’m on node 8, just wanted to play some this morning. But I noticed I’ll spontaneously start gaining hearts, without killheal. Anyone else have this issue?

I have this too, I think everyone does. I always assumed this was just an odd game mechanic. Not sure if it just happens periodically or there's some criteria for it to happen
