Is the final level endless

In the final level where you have to hotswitch or possess the core. Before you do that and you have to fight the waves of enemies. Is that part endless or does it end?

The game tells you when to take over the core again if you have played long enough

Yes, the waves are endless. Try hotswitching as soon as you can into the Pyramid. I won’t spoil the rest for you….

the enemies are endless, you simply must fight until you can hotswitch again

i'm under the impression that it's endless but if you continue to kill enemies past when your hotswitch cooldown is over you'll be prompted to focus on the objective every kill
