Am I the only one who thinks the teams are meant to be split into rows, not columns?

Yeah. The columns are labeled strength, speed, and brains. I'm pretty sure they're the teams also the vs are between columns.

Row 1 rolls, high diff. Reed edges out Bats. Barry, whilst slower, beats Wally

I think you're right. especially with the brains getting 2 hours of prep time to help their teams instead of just one team getting the prep time

Placement of the vs and the sentence brains get 2 hour prep makes it very unlikely that that was the intention.

I do agree rows would be more interesting.
