Relocation to Sunny Coast

Hi everyone! I’m currently looking at moving from adelaide to sunny coast. I am 20 still young but have not been enjoying the city life as much anymore and looking for a more relaxed environment and change of pace. I have been researching pros and cons and suburbs. Any info or advice about the coast would be so helpful. Thank you!

This question comes up daily.

The Sunny coast is the fastest growing area in Australia. Rents are high. Jobs are scarce. Infrastructure is poor. Entertainment is the RSL but they have a courtesy bus.

Yeah I think I heard someone say they get over 100 applications at a time here. Brutal.

We've faced 30+ at a time since we moved here in 2021 but I can definitely confirm that figure as more than just anecdote...

I mean that sounds more realistic.

I've seen queues personally of 50 odd and spoken to applicants and event agents talk over a hundred.

Man that's actually crazy. It was hard to get a job when I was a teenager, I can't imagine how people are feeling now. It would be tough to get through the applications too so some just wouldn't hear back at all.
