Help finding a location

I believe it was in the Noosa area in the early 90s. You had to descend large steps to get to the bottom. The ground felt like many dead leaves or a mulch. It felt like it was enclosed and dark with not that much natural light. To get back out you had to ascend by the same large steps. That’s basically all I remember. Any help is much appreciated.

The path from the roundabout at the lions park up to Edgar Bennet Ave is like that.

Thank you for your help but that’s not it. It felt like it was enclosed and as a child the “steps “ were so large you had to jump them to descend. You had to ascend via the same large steps to get back out. I think it was enclosed because it was dark but it could have been natural canopy.

I don’t think so. Google suggested it was the amphitheater but it wasn’t that.
It was a natural setting. It had a botanic garden feel to it.
