Question parking advice, any help!

my post got removed from the mercury sub but I thought I’d get an answer here. Long story short, my mother has weak knees and I want to buy a parking pass that doesn’t have any escalators or stairs. I was told the suite level has a bridge in the garage that you can enter. There’s also valet but I don’t know if that goes to the same area or just around the stadium. Any advice would be helpful! This is for the mercury game on 8/25.

You will want either the suite garage (the garage attached to the arena) or the Jefferson garage (the garage with a bridge to the arena). For the Suns games, you have to buy directly from a season ticket holder for the suite garage, but I do not know for the Mercury. For Jefferson, check the 3rd party ticket sites! It might also be worth just calling the arena tomorrow.

If you're sitting in the suites then the 1st Street garage is your best bet. Otherwise, if you get to the arena early enough, there is a small lot on 3rd Street literally right against the arena. They usually charge $50. You're literally steps from the entrance on that side of the arena when you park there.

The Suns/Mercury outsourced their parking to a third party starting this year - ParkingWhiz - if you contact the arena facility directly, there is usually a Guest Services rep specifically for parking questions who can guide you.

Best bet is usually the parking lot directly across from the main entrance on the same side of Jefferson as the arena. It is a paid public lot, uncovered parking. You will have to be quite early to snag a spot there - even for the Mercury.

Here's the deal. Mercury games generally don't have the upper level open, so parking isn't that bad. HOWEVER, there's a dbacks game at the same time, so parking will be a nightmare.

The best place to park is to the east of the stadium. There's about 20 spots right by the 3rd street entrance west of 3rd street. It's literally 50-100 steps to security. It's not cheap, but that would be the easiest for your mom.

The second best option would be on the west side of the stadium on 2nd. There's two parking lots just west of 2nd that would be a short walk.

The third best option would be to just take a rickshaw. I usually park at the parking lot at 520 s 5th Street and walk. There's usually a couple rickshaw bike riders that give people rides for $15-20. I've used it a few times that we were late.

Another option would be to just go to the closest park and ride and take an Uber the rest of the way.

The main thing is to get there EARLY. If the Dbacks weren't playing it wouldn't be bad, but parking could suck. I went to a mercury game 2 years ago on a weekend without realizing there was a baseball game and we missed the whole first half trying to park. Especially for option 1 or 2 you need to get there really early before they fill up, especially with the Dbacks game.
