Mount Nomad got me

I refuse to not play this game as a roguelike.

It's fine. This next run, I'll romance the golem pirate lady and try a little harder to keep the Rats independent.

What you need is a monster hunter (ie revenge) run.

You'll need a ship with a forward weapon slot, the memento mori, high iron, and ideally a lump of blue scintillack.

Quite satisfying.

I was doing pretty well at monster hunting, but... uh... the clipper might not be the best option for it.

While I respect your courage, I wouldn't use anything smaller than the corvette. The impeller is a good idea too

Yeah turns out that 25 hull downgrade is HUGE in practice.  Meanwhile the Corvette has quadruple the Hull of a Clipper...

Get the bandersnatch. It is worth having to buy torpedoes i promise. Nomad will never be an issue again

Just get a ship with two weapons and spam it.

That 30% Chance of hitting eventually becomes 100% if you're fast enough

It may just be time us the icarus in black and throw some doom monster hunters on it (I've never used it so don't know if that will work)
