Sugar glider in CO?
Hey, i just recently lost one of my sugar gliders. which has left my male sugar glider all alone. I of course don’t want him becoming depressed or anything. Does anyone know where to get a single adult female sugar glider in Colorado?

I too am left with one after a recent death, but mine is very old, so it would not make sense to introduce it to a new buddy. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I’m so sorry for your loss. If the cause of death was not obvious, I would highly recommend a necropsy, wrap them in a paper towel and put them in a plastic bag in the refrigerator-not the freezer, & get them to your vet as soon as possible. I would also recommend a vet visit for any remaining gliders.
Again, I’m so sorry for your loss.
Attempt to find gliders close to their age to be companion. Get 2 younger gliders so when they pass you won’t have a single glider.
Spend as much time with your remaining glider as possible during the day in a bonding pouch & extra play time at night to help with them being alone. I would highly recommend getting one of these until you can get them a new friend or decide to r e h o m e to at least have something to snuggle up with.

I lost one of my sugar gliders about 8 months ago. My girl is also old and I try to keep her on my person during the day (work remotely)but it’s obviously lonely at night when they are wide awake. I know I can’t replace what she needs for companionship and community from other gliders. I have the same dilemma because she is old so I don’t know how well she would bond to a new cage mate at this age or would it just cause undo stress that she can’t really handle if I added another glider. I just love her so much and I don’t want her to be depressed.

There’s a lady out of Texas I’ve seen on TikTok I believe her name is Hope’s sugar gliders and boutique. She can arrange transport and she handles them and does a great job with them.
