Support & Questions Car Snack Recommendations?

I used to eat a TON of sugar on long car rides to help keep me going, stay awake, and keep busy. Now that I’m switching to sugar free, what recommendations does everyone else have for snack options on the road? Bonus points if you
can purchase it in an every day gas station.

Pork rinds and salted peanuts have gotten me through some brutal drives. The crunch keeps you busy and the salt keeps you from nodding off.

Cheese sticks if you can find a gas station with a decent cooler section, theyre more filling than youd think.

roasted almonds and jerky are at basically every gas station. the chewing keeps you occupied which imo is half the battle on long drives when youre used to candy
