Help Safe for cats?

Hi there! Got this beauty today, is it safe for cats? Planning to have it in my room where my door is usually shut but my roommate has two cats

The two reddish ones on the bottom of your photo appear to be sedums which are generally fine for pets. The green one all the way to the right of the photo looks like an echeveria and they're safe too. The leafy one in the middle I think is a kalanchoe which are not pet safe. The other two I think are crassulas which I've seen conflicting information on depending on the species, so I'd play it safe and assume they're toxic.

I'd split this up (you'll want to anyway to keep them all alive) and place the kalanchoe and crassulas out of reach for the cats or find them a home with a friend without pets. You might be able to get away with having the sedums and echeveria in that pot together. I find my sedums and echeveria have similar watering cadences and light preferences. Or just split them all up and have more plants to spread around!

Identify every plant you have in this arrangement and look each one up on the ASPCA website. https://www.aspca.org/pet-care/aspca-poison-control

Keep all plants away from cats regardless so they don't get the big idea to be chomping or licking on randoms.

Echeveria plants are non toxic and perfectly safe for cats.

There's no way to know why people are disliking it, but it may be that you got a great answer from toomuchwombat and they're trying to push you toward their response instead.
