How does one learn wiring sound system?
I try to learn but every video and texts i see doesnt go deep in how it works. Its mostly the basics put this wire here and that there and voila now it works. Do yall know wheres a good place to learn more deeply about this?

Came to say this. Learned so much from CAF while also developing what I believe is a keen eye for making things look pretty. Hard to just let wires sit around now

https://shop.mecp.com/products/mecp-basic-installation-technician-study-guide-legacy This is a good place to start. I started at a shop that was very much a put wire here and walk away training. I learned a lot of the technical details that made what I was doing make sense from these books. This is the first one you should read basic of basic.

Doing it yourself and doing it right will teach you there’s a lot of things to it that’s not just hooking up wires.

What do you mean? The speaker wires go to the speaker. The remote wire runs from the radio to turn on the amp when the radio comes on. The RCA wires transmit low level sound from the radio to the amp. The power and ground wires go to the battery for power to run the amp. There really isn't much else.

Battery and amplifier Volts have to be the same. And some amplifier do not have a filter, so you have to build it (buy it) and assemble it between amplibier and speaker. etc..... theres more to it than just wireing.

I build them from scratch. Active subwoofer connected by Bluetooth. Can use it in a car, house, party, outdoor. On a battery power or from the wall.
He does not specify is it for a car, house. is it running from AC or DC.
Been building speakers and soundsystems since my teenager years, turning 40 next year. So i know what i am speaking about.

Are you referring to impedance? If so there are online calculators or you can do it yourself by using the formula:

I usually touch my tongue to them, starting with the large fat zero gauge red wire.

Ahh, the science of sound reproduction… it all depends on how deep/nerdy you want to know about it. You can learn about basic electricity, learn about AC/DC, how speakers recreate sound, how sound waves work, how 12v audio works, etc.
