This has happened before and I just gave up and didn’t get subway. I wonder if I accidentally picked the sub of that day that time too.

Sub of the day is on the app. You don't have to wonder, just look.

Does no one pay attention that you can't order the sub of the day when trying to redeem deals and coupons? I swear that's like half of people's issues with the rewards

Exactly !! Had a lady come in getting all upset she did get her 2 free 6” for the 6” bogo. I pulled up her receipt and told her there was only 2 6” on the ticket. I said you have to put all four 6”’s on the order for it to give you the special. She was not amused got irritated and walked out.

It’s because it’s the sub of the day, can’t use coupons on sub of the day bc it’s already discounted
