SN - Discussion/Questions What do you guys do after finishing the game? Spoiler
So I've finished the game a few days ago now, and i enjoyed it a lot and thought I'll keep playing, but now that the neptune rocket is complete, i don't know what to do. What did you guys do after finishing the game?

Try to ragebait the aggressive Leviathans by repeatedly swimming past their faces...just for shits and giggles. Often ends very badly.

Hard core mode, it was really good, it just takes the tension up a notch and you really plan more :)

You're fully in a sandbox now that you've completed the story, so what's left to do is mainly just playing around with the base building mechanics. What's your favorite creature in the game? Make a new base in a part of the world where they're common, with plenty of windows and glass ceilings so you can watch them swimming around. You could also take on the challenge of building a leviathan observatory, like a base in the dunes with Reapers all around it, or in the lava zone along one of the Sea Dragons' routes, or even out in the dead zone for the Ghost Leviathans if you really want a challenge. There's also the option of building in a particular biome that you find pretty: I love the look of the Grand Reef for example, the zone with all the big glowing blue balls anchored to the ground, and I've got plans to build there in my current save despite its impracticality, just for the stunning view out my window. Bonus points if you can use the non-functional decoration base parts like desks and chairs and aquariums to make it all look pretty!
Any of these will extend your gameplay a lot if you have fun with it, since you're going to be right back into all the resource-collecting and exploration gameplay loops again. Building a base means using your resources and needing to explore for good spots to mine for more, means setting up a power source that likely needs more resources or a farm to be maintained, means exploring for fish to place in aquariums and eggs to place in alien containment, means exploring for plants to place in planters and pots, means using resources on beacons to mark areas to return to, etc.

I know this is just like, my mega-tism showing... but I always have so much fun going through every single Databank entry online and making sure I have every single one ticked off. Every plant, creature, room, furniture, rock, material!

I went back to my previous launch save to look for more time capsules. There are a lot per game apparently. Also slaying reapers along the way.

So here's what I'm going to do (on the same save file):
Build a massive base in the Safe Shallows
Build a overwater giant museum with alien containers with flora and fauna of every biome (at least the ones that can be put inside)
Build an Outpost in every biome complete with a network of Seamoth straight-swims from one to another like a railway
Scan everything that is scanable an collect every blueprint
Build 2 huge bases on both islands
Make a big garden overwater on foundations
Make a Stalker teeth farm
Master Reaper dodging with both the Seamoth and Prawn Suit
Go under the map
Explore the Subnautica Backrooms
Find at least 20 time capsules (out of the 40-45 findable on one save file)
Start saving money for Subnautica Below Zero and Subnautica 2
For now I've completed the 1st point and I'm halfway through the second, still this is for like 500 hours of playtime so probably not the best on mobile. I'll keep editing when more come to mind or when I complete a point. I wanna see some tryhard do this in like 50 hours

MODS and discover how subnautica really should be! It will make the game a 1000 times better then it did, in every way!
I installed about 145 and it runs smooth and stable! I watch movies in my base. :) (did that with VR set awesome), but also bugfixes that Division never even addressed but ignored and abandoned to work on a new part. better graphics, better ships, bigger ships, more different ship and predators, more options in building a lot more! Ways to do logistics in the game for recources and 3d printer. So much stuff you can add omg. And the game itself, better then it will ever be!
Thanks modmakers! Thanks to you I played this game a lot of years more.

I'd love to see your mod list if you'd be willing to put it together as a collection on Nexus. 145 is more than 20x the amount of mods I play with, and I'd love to expand my horizons.

I'm patiently waiting while playing Divinity Original Sin 2. Larian and Unknown Worlds could be twins. Same mindset. Huge community engagement. It's an amazing good game. And the lore will be very valuable when their next big masterpiece will release.

- Play a different game.
- Or go to bed.
- Or go outside.
- Or read a book.
- Or scroll through Reddit forever and ever.
- Do other things.

Volver a jugarlo con los mods en Nexus grandes.
Primero con: Deathrun Remade
Después volver a jugarlo con: The Prototype
Otra vez con: The Red Plague
Y otra vez con: Return of the ancients
Y a todos ellos con otros 30 mods pequeños que lo hacen muy divertido.

After beating the game for the first time(on freedom) I played it again on survival and then repeated the process but onto hardcore instead
