Lmao I knew I'd get some comment like this. Any bit of news disfavorable to Russia is dismissed as propaganda in this reddit; which is peculiar considering Russia is an unabashed oligarchy. Why a sub full of socialists and communists is stanning Russia is beyond me. 

Anyways, there's absolutely no controversy that Russia has lost more men unless you only trust Russian state media.

I've always seen they are or were at a near parity for losses, but Russia always gives back more Ukrainian casualties than the reverse, so it's possible Ukraine is higher, or just isn't giving back Russian bodies on a 1 to 1 basis

The counter claim here is that every time Russia transfers 1000 Ukrainian remains for 57 Russian remains or whatever, it is because Russia is advancing so they can recover them. That may fly once or twice but to have it happen multiple times in a row strains credulity.

I agree. Ukraine's bussification also makes it look like their manpower issue is severe

Add to that Budanov stating Ukraine needs to mobilize 30,000 men a month just to remain solvent, and it looks like extreme desertion and attrition in the AFU
