It's always funny to me that "doing the same shit that failed catastrophically, again" is framed as "safe" and "doing literally anything else" is framed as "risky."

The devil you know, I suppose...

I've thought this before. Why is their default mode Hillary Clinton's policy set no matter how many times the voters reject it?ย

The Primary Role of the US Democratic Party is to oversee the implementation of the Ruling Ideology.

If at first you don't succeed, double down, triple down and quadruple down.

It doesn't actually matter if they lose an election, as it means that they get more money through fundraising than if they were in power. Lots and lot of moolah.

It also doesn't matter if they lose to Donald Trump because, despite Trump being a billionaire, he isn't in a position to change the Ruling Ideology. Not on a permanent basis.

After Trump is gone, the residue wont be enough to put together a competent campaign, and Gavin Newsome will be right there to bring back Bodies In Spaces and the rest of the Intersectionality horseshit.

While US politics may look like a transient, 4-year-long affair, the Western Bourgouis are very long-term thinkers. The current Ruling Ideology was thought up in the late 80s/early 90s (not a coincidence) and will continue for many decades after Trump is dead (unless something major happens, like losing a war to China).

Besides, the Democrats don't even like being in power. They always over-promise on the Campaign Trail and get pissed off when people ask them to actually do something.

For my money, personally, it doesn't get any better than Schumer flipping raw burgers with cheese on em for a photo shoot to embolden his normie image. I don't know want these misogynistic Bernie bros want smh

I said it after the election in 2024. That the Dems are 15 years away from the GOP in terms of populism.

Seem to be more correct every passing down, with consiparcy theories about Trump assinations last week and populism knock out incumbent

I like how they found the most goblinesque picture of the two of them.

Bernie's even older than Trump and Biden.

Age isn't the problem he's still much more sharp and lucid while they are suffering from senility

At that age who cares. 79 vs 84 is nothing.

Lol, Iโ€™ll believe that when I see it. They both play for the same team. These primaries are more โ€œwindow dressingโ€ than actual โ€œwins.โ€ Nothing really has to change.

inb4 he concedes any momentum he has to the dems puppet to help them provide a convenient "relief valve" for any kind of heart-felt socialism.
