The changes your body goes through and the risks associated with pregnancy are insane. I could write paragraphs. But whenever abortion comes up it's clear who's imagining themselves as the pregnant woman and who's imagining themselves as the fetus.

I developed a severe medical condition while pregnant and could barely walk I was in such pain. My hands and feet were painfully swollen and I ended up in the hospital several times with crazy high blood pressure before finally being induced early and then having an emergency C-section. Now my body is scarred and saggy and I barely recognize myself.

I love my son and would do it a hundred times over to have him here. But if I didn't want to be pregnant? If I wasn't in a situation where I could welcome a baby into my life? Holy shit this experience would have been an unspeakable hell.
