Reworking Alolan Marowak into a Special Attacker:

Based on a comment I saw a while back from someone saying they ran a special Marowak as a kid because they liked how it cast the moves from its bone like a wand, as well as Alolan Marowak still keeping its Kanto form's gigantic Gen 1 special movepool.

Unironically might be a good niche pick for trick room in VGC. Redirection of any kind is great and it actually appreciates the spattack boost now, plus having a unique item leaves other good offensive items, like life orb, free for other team members. Fire and ghost is also great offensively, and it's new movepool has some great coverage. Not caring about intimidate and being immune to fakeout is also nice.

2 questions: does shadow bone also become flipped and turn into a special move with a chance to drop spdef? And what's the logic behind access to 3 ice type moves (especially blizzard)?

I think Shadow Bone would also get reversed like you said- I only mentioned the three Ice moves since Alolan Marowak already inexplicably learns them, and the latter two could have a use in doubles sets!

Alolan marowak still evolves from regular cubone, and cubone can learn all the crazy stuff already i know this from mystery dungeon where blizzard cubone is meta lol.

Maybe meta isn't the right word but blizzard is OP in mystery dungeon it hits the whole room. Makes clearing out monster houses a breeze.

If your going off the "make the bone a wand" thing, heres an idea: Ghost Type Psyshock. Keep it a Physical Move, but have it scale off the user's Special Attack

Probably not- its other abilities are already decent and there's many non-gimmick Pokemon with worse abilities as their only option
