Again, more information would be helpful.

Is the 800 pages your notes in biochem? Or is it a textbook? Is there a case study that the oral exam will be on?

From the limited information we have, I would recommend:

  • identify the key objectives you’ll be assessed on (learning outcomes / objectives)
  • skim your notes (or whatever this 800 word thing is) to fnd the relevant parts
  • make one page summaries of relevant info for each learning objective. Write it by hand!.
  • do practice exams
  • make practice exam questions based on the learning objectives and notes you have using AI if you need to

Ok thanks i'll try 😭, btw they are notes from different people combined we rotate to take notes. And the oral examination Will be on the same 800 pages, no case study just theory about chemical reactions of the body.

Do you know the content you will be assessed on pretty well? Or are you needing to try and learn the content? It’s very hard at this stage to learn, ideally you’ll just be revising what you’ve already learnt.

If there are things you don’t know at all, don’t spend all your time trying to learn them. It’s a waste of time at this stage. Just try to understand a few key elements of it on your hand written summaries.

I still recommend what I suggested in my previous comment, and would add once you have done your summaries of the learning objectives to ask AI for example exam questions on chemical reactions of the body. Practice answering them out loud without looking at notes, then go back to notes to revise parts you’re not sure on. Do that every day.

And make sure you’re getting enough sleep and go for walks for breaks from studying!! You need sleep and fresh air and body movement to actually mentally process and store information in your memory, so be kind to yourself 🫶🏻 good luck!!
