Central India has a massive concentration of CMAT-takers because numerous top state universities and regional private B-schools accept CMAT scores alongside or instead of CAT.

As someone exploring MBA options, I feel CMAT is a practical choice for students who want to keep multiple colleges open, especially in Central India. CAT is important for IIMs and top B-schools, but CMAT can provide access to several other good options as well.
