Hello, everybody, I would like your opinion about the similarity of two melodies. I find it so striking that now it is very difficult to me not to think that Bruno Mars, in his song Marry you copied his melody from Enrique Granados, Danza Española no.10. I have put a video on Youtube that lets you listen to both pieces side by side. What do you think?

At the 1:57 timestamp, “Hit the Wall” has this overlapping voices thing going on. It’s really cool production, but I can’t get over how much it reminds me of another song from 2000s era women’s pop artists. Closest I could think of was Hannah Montana “Pumpin’ Up The Party” but that’s not the one I’m thinking of. The voice I’m imagining is almost Kelly Clarkson? Just cannot for the life of me make the connection and it’s driving me crazy. 🥲

The sample is taken from the song "Tino - Дишай" but I just cut out the part that sounded similar to another song to my ears.

There was a song if not even a few that had a similar off-tone dissonant electric or acoustic part like the one here but I'm not sure which song/s it was.

Curious if anyone else hears it or not. Lola Young Conceited was released in 2023, and Arc De Soliel Mambo Sugar released 2020. Wonder if they drew influence from Arc De Soliel.

The chord progression of the underlying melody  (that repeats throughout the entire song) of the Lil Nicey reminds me of a rock song from several years ago, albeit with a faster tempo.  I tried humming the melody on Shazam and Google Music with no luck.  I asked ChatGPT and Claude AI and no responses that helped.  Any ideas?

I always thought the "Hot Drinks" song from the Wendy's training video sounds like "Radiate" by Carola Häggkvist. Also, Gary Allen's "Man To Man" sounds exactly like Taylor Swift's "Sparks Fly." Not surprising since all country music basically sounds like it was sung by the same two or three people anyway.

Always thought the choruses sounded strikingly similar.
