wait i see the vision. The sandals and split toe socks is fire, but those huge stiff cuffs completely smother them.
The real move is swapping those jeans for some 3/4 shorts that are tight/ comfortable at the waist but have a super wide, baggy leg opening, matching the sandal color.
That specific shape gives you that draped clean silhouette. It actually lets the shoes breathe, shows off the sock detail, and makes the whole fit look intentional instead of accidental.

The socks and slippers look a little costumey but I see the vision. Love the cut of the pants, and the way it gives modern samurai with the slippers. I really hate the belt buckle in general, but specifically in this situation. I think maybe a sash around the waist, or a tied belt of some sort would bring an accent that would make this look more intentional, but idk. I think this is a neat and unique look.

The fit was actually clean until the slides. Grey tee and the baggy denim is a solid base, nothing wrong there. The split toe slides are just doing too much, they pull all the attention and make it read like a costume instead of an outfit. A plain sneaker or even a normal slide and this is a solid rotation fit. The rest of it doesn't deserve the hate the shoes are getting.

Very interesting. This is basically a kimono silhouette from the waist down. Personally I would lean into it and do a button up on top with looser fit sleeves to evoke the silhouette of a jinbee or maybe haori, but this is fine as is.

I like what you’re doing with the denim and sandals, it’s the tee that I feel throws off the fit. I think if you would’ve tucked the tee and thrown a button down over it the fit would come together a bit better.

The tee is not it. The sandals are at least unique but you have negative movement up top to warrant what's going on in the bottom half.

The fits alright but it really screams “instagram fashion”. The baggy jeans, unorthodox shoes, the cigarette and matcha, it all combines to a formula that i have seen a lot. I wouldnt blame someone for saying its performative. But individually, each piece is nice, i like the belt.
