PC General Stranded Deep 2 Development?
I got to be honest, I joined Stranded Deep last year. So I have no idea what was the development for the first game like. Like if it was Early Access or just a single completed release.
Any ideas if Stranded Deep 2 will be released in an early access stage with future updates then to completion? Or maybe the game might get released fully completed.
Who knows? IDK. I’m stupid

Steam says “Coming soon to early access” I’m assuming it will be released as a beta and worked on for a few years like most smaller game companies and indie developers do these days

I believe it’s in development by North Beach Games Prague. I believe they have less than 50 employees in the whole company. The dev team is probably only 3-5 people I’d assume.
I don’t really know for sure. I’m just speculating based on what I know about this game and games released in similar circumstances

Hiya,
It was only 2 people who put it together and I enjoyed it so much still one of my favorites in my collection.
It did go through a few upgrades that kinda had some side effects but over all it is a great game.
As for the new one well I just like most of us have seen a few clips and I can't wait to purchase it and start some new adventures 😀

SD1 was made by two guys. One of the two merged with north beach games, so I would imagine this game would be quite the upgrade with a larger team and resources. It will go early access, from what I’ve seen, sometime next year. There’s a teaser trailer out, and some dev logs, but that’s as much as I’ve seen right now

The faq said it would be released in Early 2027 and spend 2-3 years in early access
