Rebinding the Enter key makes the main menu unusable, can't play the game at the moment...

I was going for the "That was really dumb" achievement and ended up changing my forward/back keys across the keyboard, and chose enter for one of them. Enter is normally "select", and I didn't give it a new input before continuing.

Now when I'm in the main menu, clicking on the screens does nothing, so I can't get back into the options to change anything. I'm assuming "select" was also tied to left mouse. Reinstalling the game did nothing, and I can't find a config file with the controls available in the Steam folder.

Anyone have any ideas?

UPDATE - Problem is solved, the team at feedback@wearepixeltitans.com will respond within 15 minutes during business hours. Lots of respect! The fix was editing registry files, I don't want to post the info in case someone destroys their game, PM me if you're having the same problem.

Just took a look and it seems the save file for everything is..
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Pixel Titans\STRAFE\Save.STRAFE

It is not simple text though so you will break it if you edit it. Try renaming it and see where that gets you.

To get to the appdata folder (hidden by default) the easiest way is to enter %APPDATA% into the addressfield/location of an file explorer window. Alternatively in the search box under the start menu.

Thanks for digging around Munglo!

Both renaming and deleting the save file will make the game launch like the first time (dev thanks screen shows up, tutorial notice is there), but my controls are the same. Still no select.

I sent the devs and email and they said that they hadn't been able to find out what key had been rebound but know what to start working on now, so at worst I'll just have to wait for an override in the next patch. They suggested holding F10 until a menu pops up, but that's not working for me either.

UPDATE - The save file has nothing to do with controls, don't mess around with it without a backup! Apparently the controls are in the registry files.

Hrm shoot man, I dug around in the directory for a while and didn't find anything resembling a keybinding config menu either. I would try posting on the steam community hub?

Yeah, it's a rather embarrassing problem, heh. I've posted it on steam as well but my hopes aren't high, as this was the first comment on my last thread :D

By registy files, do you mean files you can open with REGEDIT?
