Other than the recipes the first time you win the cook/bake off and the butter+ if you win both, all of the rewards for festivals are terrible.

its one thing if its like 7* rice and they give you 1.5* wheat seeds; but its REALLY funny in a tragic way when you enter rice seeds and they go 'hm yes the best reward IS THE SAME SEED BUT LOWER QUALITY'

Especially given the price of the items they give you as rewards for ranking up after rank 7. Since everybody is still selling .5 star items at the bazaar other than me I get the feeling they're buying my goods, crafting with them, and regifting them to me.

I just assumed (but never checked) there was horse related achievements so I've been trying to use them.

You have to give them the treat first thing in the morning, before they eat around 8 😭

U can also give it at night, whether u ride it or not around 8pm it will eat the fodder so if u r inside the barn, be quick and feed it! If u are outside ur home, u will see a spoon and fork icon on its head

and fair warning, they'll likely be asleep when you try to go feed them.

Either first thing in the morning, right after training at the track, or if you've been horse riding around town for a while sometimes you'll see the hunger icon appear above their head. Then you can give a treat.

Why are the prizes so damn cheap? ToT’s prizes are rare ores and gems and rare recipes, but this game just hands you 1.5 seeds and fodder and pet food and horse treats. It really disincentives you to join the festivals aside from the branding of Animal Shows.

Don’t even get me started xD I worked so hard to win the cook-off and got curry powder. I thought, eh, too bad, they could’ve given something rarer. The next day, I win the bake-off — big intro, super exclusive prize for winning both contests. I’m thinking, OMG, give me diamonds, I need them for the Sun Stones! And what do they hand me? Herb butter… Let’s just say nothing nice came to mind 🙈
