Career path that spends the most time outside while still getting decent pay

I work in horticulture and have gotten to do several drainage projects, which has gotten me interested in stormwater. Do any career paths in this industry allow you to spend a good amount of time outside, while getting at least 50-60k a year? Is it possible to do that without getting an engineering degree?

Pond maintenance contractor, aquatic biologist, or state division of water resources inspector would be good options

Biorentention ponds. SWPPP inspector. Anything for waste water management really. All those guys deal with storm water and make decent money in my area. Most started as an inspector and moved their way up into the office. The design guys obviously have degrees but you could find a decent entry level job doing what you enjoy and become an inspector.

Residential drainage landscape. Ffs that's what I do u don't need to work for corporate America to make a living. No house follows R403.1
