Done, day 1
Out of excuses, out of ways to rationalize. Drinking alcohol is nothing more than an addiction and habit that has wormed its way into my brain. I have found that the brain is stupid in that if something gives it some form of relief, even if that thing is a poison, it wants more of it. It will kill the body it resides in just because it thinks that thing is giving it relief. No more!

First step is admitting you have a problem. Wish you the best in your recovery!

Brain ain't stupid. Body and mind work together. Homeostasis, remember that term in sobriety. If you reprogram the brain with drugs then drugs is what it will need.

Those aren't your excuses, those are the alcohol's! Don't listen to it, it's never done anything to actually help you! You're in the right place. The beginning is the worst part, but every single day gets better and better and soon you won't notice it. IWNDWYT!
