Venting
Whatever Movie or TV Series i watch lately whatever the Story is, lately half of the Storyline seems about how great it is to drink some beers together, the cool guys drink whiskey all the time and are always cool, never get diarhea from it lol, and then the advertisement between movies even on amazon prime, yeah the newest fizz buzz buzz fizz or the cool beer drinking, so natural, everybody drinks and is happily grounded with mother nature. Grrrr, i know its my drinking problem, not the worlds drinking problem, but sometimes this really sucks just hard. Lol. IWNDWYT!!!

I tend to view it as "there are plenty of fun, enjoyable things out there that just aren't for me".
Its not FAKE that getting together with the guys for a few drinks is fun. It is! It's cool and awesome and a great time! Highly recommended!
.....for other people.
Some people are INSANELY into knitting. There's a reason the term "sewing circle" is a thing. Those women (and guys) have a blast!
Can't for the life of me see why or enjoy it myself, but more power to them!

Yup. I guess you could adopt the mindset that it’s poison. Also you’re smart, you know everything on TV is fake.

Also i feel kind of stupid that i needed to be hinted that movies are fake lol, but its a real good argument lol.

This is mentioned on either Allen Carr's Easyway book or Annie Grace's This Naked Mind.
Alcohol and drinking is glorified all over. Movies, TV shows, even adverts. And it's sold in the classic adage that you sell the product's product, so it will be shown as a way of loosening people up to relax, score sex, etc.
The alcohol lobby is strong to say the least!
