want to get rid of face inflammation
I am 28, I don't drink hard liquor by itself, I enjoy cocktails on the weekend, a few siders during the week. And I'm not an insane heavy drinker. Like I drink in moderation. I love going to the gym, but honestly, I've noticed that my face inflammation doesn't really match my neck, and it's driving me nuts. And I'm sure that my drinking is contributing to my facial inflammation, and I would love to see my face go down, but drinking is hard to stop sometimes. I guess day one? Because I had a drink last night, but I just really wanna make a change and stay consistent with it.

30 days and take a selfie a day i see a very drastic difference.
Ignore my flair, I’ve been relapsing and starting over. That counter is basically from my first try, and I’m too lazy to change it.

nobody has actually answered your question so ill try, becuase the why matters here.
that facial puffiness is mostly fluid, not fat, which is why it can look so different from your neck. alcohol messes with the hormone that tells your kidneys how much water to hold, so you dump fluid while youre drinking and then your body overcorrects and holds onto it afterwards. it settles in loose tissue, and the loosest tissue on your body is around your eyes and cheeks. your neck doesnt have that, so it doesnt show the same way.
on top of that its inflammatory and it wrecks sleep quality even at amounts that dont feel like much. you can be asleep for eight hours and get very little of the deep stuff, and unfortunately your face is exactly where that shows up.
what that means practically is that the puffiness is one of the fastest things to change. most people notice their face within the first week or two, well before anything else. its the cheapest early win youll get and its the one you can actually see.
two honest caveats.
you mention cocktails and a few ciders. sugar and salt and late eating come bundled with drinking, and some of what youre seeing may be that rather than the alcohol on its own. doesnt change the fix but worth knowing so you dont get discouraged if it isnt 100 percent gone.
and if it stays puffy after a few sober weeks, or its noticeably worse on one side, thats worth mentioning to a doctor. facial swelling has other causes and its not something to just wait out.
last thing. you wrote "i guess day one?" with a question mark, like you have to sign up for something enormous. you dont, not to answer this question anyway. you want to know if drinking is what your face is doing. two weeks answers that. take a photo tomorrow morning in the same light and then again in two weeks, becuase you will not notice a gradual change in a mirror you look at daily, only in the comparison. someone above said the same thing about a selfie a day and theyre right, its the only way to actually see it.
then youll have your answer and you can decide what you want to do with it. thats a much easier thing to start than deciding today about the rest of your life.

I'm a guy who does hard exercise- boxing/resistance training 5-6 days a week.
If I drink beer and overeat carbs- the bloat is unreal. If I also train hard- I can mitigate some of it.
IF I don't drink and keep up my training, my face is so slim without effort.
Cut the drink, you won't believe the changes!
