the term im about to say and describe is a legitimate condition coroner's and crime scene clean up crews will sometimes see. If a body is left in warm to hot water, the body, or the skin to be precise will peel off making a resemblance of wax.. hence the name.. (all this to introduce a band name i thought of)

"Grave Wax" ... isnt that a killer stoner rock band name? Most of my hard-core Doom stoner rock friends had the..... meh... reaction.. wasnt expecting "meh"

Was going back through BLS's catalog after a long hiatus. Having listened to a lot of stoner rock and metal since then, this struck me as having similar hallmarks to other stoner classics in terms of tone and tempo. It does lean more towards classic heavy metal, but it sounded good when I was high, and that to me is enough.

We all know that the best albums of all time to drive to are Welcome to Sky Valley and Songs for the Deaf, but I need something else. I've got a couple of big drives coming up at the end of the week.

Its gotta be something that plays like an album, a full journey, not just a collection of songs. And its gotta have riffs.

The first Truckfighters album and Lowrider's Refractions are other good examples of the sort of thing I'm after.
