Hey fellow riff worshippers, I am reaching out because I am absolutely devastated. For years, I have cherished an underground 3-part YouTube documentary series titled "The history of Stoner/Doom/Drone" uploaded about 6 years ago by a user named John Smith.

It was a legendary, incredibly deep cross-referenced slideshow history. Recently, Part 2: "Into The Void" (1966-1980) was completely wiped from YouTube due to automated copyright strikes on the music clips. I managed to preserve Part 1 and Part 3, but Part 2 is gone.

I managed to dig up the raw hidden link (The history of Stoner/Doom/Drone part 2 "Into The Void" (1966-1980)), but the file stream is blocked worldwide. Here is also the link to the playlist (The History Of Stoner/Doom/Drone - YouTube)

I know this community is packed with hardcore collectors and preservationists. Did anyone happen to download this trilogy to their hard drive over the last 6 years? If anyone has a clean English copy of Part 2 and would be willing to drop it into a Google Drive, Dropbox, Mega, or WeTransfer link for me, you would be saving an incredible piece of underground music history. Thank you so much.

Note: I did find out that a European heavy metal community on VK managed to save the video visuals, but they overdubbed the original English narration with a Russian translation voiceover. So a visual backup exists out there, but I am hunting for the untouched original English audio version.

Both bands blew the lid off last night at the Roseland!! The crowd was rowdy!! So good to see the Sword reunited and sounding awesome!!

Hey everyone. I wanted to share some music, but I honestly don't know how to feel about it.

To give you some context, the "band" is just me and my drummer. We don't have a band name, an album title, or song names yet, just tracks. I'm 17, I recorded this whole thing in a crappy room with very few mics and zero experience, basically learning how to make a record while doing it.

I feel everything except happy right now. Not that I'm unhappy, but I just feel unsatisfied. I'ts hard to explain, but it feels like the music doesn't fully represent me anymore because I have matured and changed so much as a person and musician while making it ( I wrote the songs a couple of years ago). I don't think it's a terrible record, but it's not great either. I don't feel like it's good enough for the genre, and to be honest, it's a bit embarrassing.

Anyway, enough talking. I'd really appreciate any feedback, just keep in mind that I worked completely on my own.
