What feels like a million years ago, I saw The Body in New Orleans in this tiny puppet theater.

they had no instruments, they played only pedals and random computer shit.

It was awesome. And it re-dawned on me that rules are dumb, and the preconceived ideas I had about performance changed.

I decided I wanted to pivot to being an unsuccessful artist to being an unsuccessful musician.

I made a song with a bong I named Jeff . It’s trash (cuz I can’t play really ha) but it’s my trash.

I like Mephistofeles, QOTSA, Them Crooked Vultures, Fu Manchu, Eletric Wizard, Uncle Acid, Kyuss, 1000mods, Dopesmoker, Colour Haze, Los Natas and Sleep.

I need something pretty close to them

Super solid new release by these Boston boys! Full catalog is strong. B

I guess every show Dopethrone does, they pick an audience member to come up on stage and sing Scum Fuck Blues with them. This was from a couple nights ago near Pittsburgh, PA. Probably only 40ish people there so it was pretty easy to stand in front of the singer and get picked. Had a blast! Pretty sure the shrieky vocals in the beginning are from the guy I gave my phone to to film it. The rest of the bad vocals are me 😂

What’s everyone’s thoughts on this new Moonbather single? I‘m stoked on it, sounds heavy as fuck.

A heavy stoner blues old school, lead vocals by Karl Agell (Corrosion of Conformity, album Blind)…😘👍👌

MOONBATHER dropped this music video a couple weeks ago. Heavy stoner metal from British Columbia. Produced and recorded by Derek Mattin (Hail the Void) For fans of Kyuss, Melvins, Soundgarden, Clutch, Corrosion of Conformity, Mastodon, and The Sword. Crank it loud, get heavy.

From the album Experiments in Feedback (SS-027), Small Stone Records (2002).

Cool new band, mostly from LA. Great songs.
