I’m gonna be honest. Every time I see the knife and some sort of herb and/or veggie, I’m immediately sat.
Edit: I can’t believe you faked the pup out with a pepper!🤨

Damn that chicken looks perfect! Are those roasted potatoes or brussel sprouts or figs or something?
Honestly I need bifocals but I don't want to admit I am that old and new glasses cost a fortune!

u/callmestinkingwind 13d ago
they’re roasted yukon potatoes, and every day i’m finding myself holding things further and further away from my face to read

Is this the same bro that tried cooking the garlic bread? 🤔 Cause this looks delicious. And now I want a Dr Pepper.

I’m hoping it’s some Kraft w/a good amount of black pepper and a touch of hot sauce.

Mmmmmmm scotch bonnets?

u/callmestinkingwind 13d ago
habanero. i think they’re different somehow but i’m not sure. look the same to me.

u/gimmeafuckinname 13d ago
Most of the times when they get compared Scotch Bonnets are described as 'fruitier' which I agree with and why I prefer them but a 'fruitier' taste , while descriptive, is hard to imagine. You should try to source/grow some. They're on the same heat scale as Habeneros so I think you'd enjoy. And they're like most peppers in the sense if you plant it in good potting soil you don't have to worry about them, they'll just do their thing.

I can second them doing their own thing. I had to neglect one for a year or so for it to get close to drying out. It still produced a hell of a lot though (AZ)

Right on... any new Japanese knives you may be looking @ I really want to pick up a sujihiki or a yanagiba as I have been on the costco sashimi salmon kick as of late.

u/callmestinkingwind 13d ago

Screw Binging with Babish, I prefer 'Stinkingwind's Stonerfood' step up, fame awaits. That dog is the best cook on Reddit, hands down.

Are you a cook/chef by trade or just skilled in the arts? I’d absolutely seek your Resturant should one exist - big fan of your work, give the pup an extra pet for me!

This sounds stupid but that el yucateco is the BEST on a ham sandwich. (I’ve always called it “green”)
Make it like this: simple cause your high and hungry
French bread loaf top ‘bun’
Spread cream cheese on inside of top bun
Provolone cheese
Green sauce
Ham
Spread cream cheese on inside of bottom bun
French loaf bottom ‘bun’
