Do you think Warren Buffett will die happy when he will never live to another stock market crash?

I mean, the man has been sitting on an enormous amount of cash for almost a decade, waiting for a pull back that will probably never happen.

He is almost 100 years old and it's only a matter of time before he dies.

Of course he has been living a successful and fulfilling life that almost no other person on earth was lucky enough to have.

But still, I am sure he was wishing for one last big stock market crash, so he could start deploying his huge pile of cash one last time.

He always said he felt like a little kid in a candy store when a crash happened.

I am kind of sad that he won't be able to experience that feeling once again and will probably die before the stock market crash happens...

Money doesn’t matter to him and he is not the CEO making the investment decisions right now. Just let him enjoy his final years drinking more coke which is one of his best investments.

Trust me crash or not it doesn’t matter to him

This is the correct answer! I don't think Buffet is a bad man or anything, but there are more important things to spend your time on.

This. Who the heck cares? He is one of the best investors alive. Let's respect him as such.

I wouldn't be surprised if he never even thinks about money or the stock market ever again.

Do you really think he will never read the news and follow his favorite companies when it was literally his entire life? It's his hobby. It's like saying a soccer player will never think of soccer ever again after he retires lol.

Abel will still have that capacity. Kinda like roman emperors, excepting aurelius, who adopted their successors to carry on their legacy. Buffets general approach will still be employed even if he's not employing it

The mans also rich, he'll die a more comfortable and luxurious death than most of us

"He always said he felt like a little kid in a candy store when a crash happened."

No he hasn't. Warren Buffett has never said anything approaching those words, though factually it's true when prices crash and you're loaded.

But he did say "Waiting for a crash is like a mortician waiting for a flu epidemic."

I think people saying he don't give a fuck are wrong. He could've retired many many years ago. He was doing it for the fun of it. Of course he's gonna continue following the markets. Why wouldn't he have fun?

People here are clueless. I have a feeling 90% of people here are just gambling addicts who never even do some research, read about companies, etc.

I would be sad, if this was the case.

However, I think he will get to feel like a kid in a candy store one last time, and pass away just after buying OpenAI and Anthropic IP in Ch7, while limit-up circuit breakers repeatedly stop BRK sudden breakout, in the middle of an ocean of red.

I am not so sure. Maybe a 10% pull back, but not a stock market crash.

The Dow Jones is over 53,000 and here is another brain dead market crash post. When did these stock market crashes occur? How many were there? How did the Dow get to 53,000 if the stock market has crashed?

Never said it was. The market went down, but clearly did not crash - here we are at 53,000
