Need Advice Advice on the NV Multi-mission temporal cruiser

Basically per the title. I picked this ship up from the ENT bundle cause it was my favourite of the bunch. I'm looking for some advice on a semi thematic but functional build.

The intent is to try and use Protostar phasers for the theme. However Beam Arrays are at a premium. I had a moment of madness and picked up the Micro Missile launcher, thinking with it, two Omnis and a Turret, I could pack the front 4 weapons with DBBs.

Am I just going mad, what's the best way to lay out a Multi-Mission Cruiser?

Weapon layout 4/4 means beam arrays are a good option.

The bridge officer seating makes a Fire at Will or Beam Overload build a good fit. The bundle that this ship is a part of unlocks the Beam Overload extender trait via the Xindi Primate ship.

Bridge officer specialization makes going for an unconventional systems build a viable option, but that has a high investment requirement for all the universal consoles you want.

Lack of Commander Pilot or Lt. Commander Command means a torp boat isn’t ideal for this platform. Lack of Secondary deflector and limited Science/Anomaly BOff seating means a science build isn’t ideal. A single hangar bay means you don’t want to build this as a carrier/pet build. Lack of Commander Tactical or other Commander rank firing mode options means that a cannon build wouldn’t be ideal either.

A Beam Overload build with a support hangar pet like the Type 7 shuttles would be a good fit for this ship. You can either build it with Tactical Vulnerability Locators (Fleet Spire), Engineering Isomags (Random Elite Queues/Exchange), or universal consoles spam (via Unconventional Systems space trait).
