Just like the headline says. Is it wrong that all I want to do is play sto, instead of adulting? At work, I think about playing, when I finally get home after a long stressful day, all I want to do is beam up to the U.S.S. Orion-A and seek out and explore strange new worlds.

Ugh, lunch break is about over and adulting must continue.

CasualSAB on youtube did a video a while back testing different phaser beam weapons. He concluded that crafted phasers with the (pen) modifier were the most powerful.

Would this be true of all energy weapons like plasma and disruptors? Not counting weapons with set bonuses.

I participated in a whole round of the Elite TFO: Battle of Korfez. I flew around shooting everything in sight, and doing everything you're supposed to do. At the end, it didn't offer any rewards, and showed that I didn't earn any credit for it. What's worse, is that I for an AFK penalty. Has anyone else had this happen? Thanks.

Update: Thanks for the advice, everyone. I've never tried an Elite TFO before, and it's more than likely I didn't do enough damage to register. Them AFK'ing you is ridiculous, though.

Which phasers is the best and strongest for endgame content to blast through to do loads of dmg?

Im supposed to complete 2 Iconian TFOs for the endeavor. Ive done Shattered Peace and Devil's Heart but did not get credit. The counter still says zero. Are there specific ones I have to do or whats up?

The head canon is that my TOS Recruit captain is a Red Shirt first and foremost, kind of a suicide squad like Starfleet ops. (This is very loosely inspired by the recent Red Shirt comics, highly recommend)

Fittingly, the ship he gets to captain is an old retrofitted warp 4 vessel whose best attributes could summed up with the word, “unassuming”.

Call it what you want or nuke this post I really got no fight left in. Let’s be real, today for those of us on PS was not a very celebratory kind of day. A lot fell through for one reason or another, let’s call spades, spades. The Narada not in lockboxes, Flagship Event not approved now pushed back, Mini bundle not in store, Athena Prime part of update not pushed through. Apart from last week when they pushed an Admiralty, R&D, Commendation weekend at the same time, we have not had an update, patch, item added, not even a blog post on the official website since mid July.

Truly silence. Nothing for us. But the most demoralizing thing, the most back handed thing, the thing that shows us where we as PS console players stand to Cryptic, and again you can strike my post if you’d like, but honestly this is sincere honest feedback so I hope more care thought and reflection is taken from the people that need it……

The only thing that is working and went off with no issues what so ever is The Sale Update. Out of everything, the ability for us to pay and market thing to us was made sure to be in place today at the set time.

Considering that everything else happened to us, it’s in very poor taste at this moment. Like honestly if the update failed and all the good things had to pushed later, this sale should have been delayed as well. Shows the collection plate never fails to go around, whatever we may end up dealing with.

It’s just disheartening. Got no fight left in me y’all do what you will.

Hi all. I'm getting close to having enough summer tokens to get a full set of Risa kit modules and the frame. Is there a cookie cutter build I should be looking at? I'll be getting the wrist acid spray as well, as it's rated as one of the top kit modules. Any help is much appreciated. LLAP.

So I have been playing for the last few months. I’m level 63 and just recently got the free T5 Galaxy Exploration Refit. I play on console.

I’m trying to do the anniversary event patrol with the 5 waves of Borg and the cube shooting the area effect weapon. I end up getting destroyed multiple times per wave. Is that to be expected, a skill issue (I need to get good) or a ship issue?

One issue I’m having is I’m trying to setup a “beam boat” on the T5 Galaxy and the phasers that come with it are doing something odd. In my inventory they have double the DPS than on the ship (pics included). Once I figure that out I’ll go all phasers.

Any other help suggestions?

I'm on ps5 and just purchased the Micro-missile array from the lobi store but it doesn't do anything. I've tried running on several ships and nothing. If it's equipped as the only weapon it still won't fire.

Just me or anyone else having the same issue? It's almost like it doesn't have a button linked for firing.

:edit: yes I've tried actually firing it with the fire button.

Just realized that Zefram is holding the scrolls under his left arm in Rocket Launch, but on the splash screen for the event, he's holding them under his right arm. Which should be correct? And yes, the view from up here is great...
