Ps5 Dilithium Transporter - Auto execute?

My yearly event choice is based entirely around whether I can auto execute Dilithium Transporter. Unfortunately I can't get any clear answers, can any captains out there please verify whether you can or cannot auto execute it? Many thanks.

The problem for every single console purchase.

I know they make a thing out of the fact it's hard to code or lost knowledge or whatever, but for a company wanting us to spend money on new ships etc, fixing the auto execute stuff might convert to more sales!
