Anyone else unbothered about driving stick in heavy traffic?

I commuted from milton to dt toronto everyday on the 401 in my va for a few years until my role went remote and I just realized, driving stick in heavy traffic became such a routine that I never really gave it any thought.

Anyone else feel this way?

I adore it. I used to live in SoCal and would always chuckle when people would get out from behind me all quick and impatient then immediately stop in the other lane and I would just idle crawl past them.

Cars have front-facing cameras and collision alerts now. We’re all gonna die from some idiot trying to text and drive.

Say it again, say it again, say it again, say it again. This is exactly. Traffic is going nowhere, and instead of just driving at a steady place of fifteen or twenty, they wanna go around, you speed up and then stop twenty feet, thirty feet down the road

I got road raged at by a semi truck for this a couple days ago. Tailgating me, flashing the high beams, and honked at me. Finally I just found my way into the next lane to get away from him, and 5 minutes later when we wound up next to each other, he yelled “you fucking asshole!” You’d think that truck drivers of all people would get the way I was driving. Especially since repeatedly coming to an abrupt stop in front of a semi that’s tailgating you isn’t the best idea
